Celebrity Chef Ball

Meals on Wheels Chicago is pleased to announce it will be hosting it's 20th Celebrity Chef Ball on Friday, October 17, 2008.  Two decades ago, Meals on Wheels pioneered the "Celebrity Chef" buzz with an annual brunch event, which has since evolved into a dinner gala.  To this day, Celebrity Chef offers a remarkable opportunity for chefs from around the country to join forces for one special day and truly make an impact on Chicago's senior and disabled community. In 2007, our event was chosen to be featured on Bravo's hit culinary reality show Top Chef. Meals on Wheels Chicago hosted a viewing party on April 9th for fans of the program and will continue to host events, leading up to the 2008 event.

This year's gala event will be held in the stylish 7th floor of Macy's on State Street.  In our two-tier format, the event will feature 50-60 top chefs from Chicago and around the country.  Premium tickets will be available on a limited basis for those guests who want to experience a luxury four-course seated dinner. A lower-priced reception-style experience is available for guests who may be newer supporters of the cause or prefer a high energy, less formal dining experience.
